DIFFERENCES OF SQUARES
-
Factoring two terms, for example ( 9x²-121x)
-
They both need to be a perfect square. We will need to square root the terms, so if we have (9x²-121x) the square root of 9 is 3 and the square root of 121 is 11. So the factor is (3x-11) (3x+11)
-
If it is a postive number (ex. 9x²+121x) it not a Difference of Squares.
